DENOS
Before installing the DENOS software, what do I need to check?
Ensure that your digital pen software is up to date. If you have a digital diary, you will need to install the Digital Diary v2.0 software before proceeding to install DENOS.
For more configuration information, refer to the User’s Manual available for
downloading.
What software is required with DENOS?
At the very least, you will need to install the Microsoft Office suite comprising Word, Excel and Outlook. Compatible versions of Microsoft Office comprise Office 2000, Office XP and Office 2003.
You can also use Lotus Notes as your e-mail handler and personal data organiser. Compatible versions of Lotus Notes are Lotus Notes 6.0 and 6.5.
Warning! DENOS software is not compatible with Outlook Express.
Is it possible to add text to a Yellow Note created from the digital notepad?
The Yellow Notes application lets you use the EASYBOOK M³
Digital Notepad or the icon located in the Windows toolbar to create a note shown on your PC desktop.
By clicking on a Yellow Notes window, you can then add text below or above an image or correct the text.
Tip : To write a note with a number of bulleted headings, use button 
Where I can find my Word document with digitised text after having written a in the ACTION margin ?
Once your notes are transferred into your PC, your Word document is automatically registered in My Word Notes folder under My Documents directory.
To retrieve easily your document the file name is composed of the subject and the date written in the page header : SUBJECT_DATE.doc
Tip : Your Excel and picture files created from Easybook digital notebook
are also automatically registered in their respective folder, My Excel Notes and My Sketches, under My Documents directory.
Digital Diary
Before installing the Digital Diary software, what do I need to check?
Ensure that your digital pen software is up to date and that you have a personal data organiser program such as
Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes.
Note that Digital Diary software does not work with Outlook Express as it does not handle appointment or task scheduling.

I have just received the 2005 Diary refill with its CD-Rom. How do I install this new software?
You can retain the installation of the previous Digital Diary v1.0 software and install Digital Diary v2.0 for 2005 over it. If you uninstall Digital Diary v1.0 software and then install the latest version, you will need to install an additional corrective patch.

When I synchronise, I see an error message displayed like <<!!! Error: 'Start session' ... >>
Check that your e-mail message handler, defined on installation is always selected by default.
This setting is made from the Internet Explorer program, Tools/Internet Options menu.
In the Programs tab, the E-mail field should display your choice of e-mail handler: Microsoft Office Outlook or
Lotus Notes and not Outlook Express.
If your e-mail system is connected to a Microsoft Exchange Server or Domino Server, also check that you are able to access your e-mail messages. We recommend configuring the e-mail client for a local message database.

Digital Pen
When I place my digital pen on its base to synchronise it, the progress bar that shows the transfer only appears after
I have started up my PC.
Check that you are using the latest versions of the software for your digital pen. The latest driver updates correct pen synchronisation start up problems encountered when using a USB port connection.

I have just updated my digital pen software and when I synchronise, the digital ink now also appears in the pen software.
If you update the pen’s software after installing DENOS, you will need to run a utility program so that only the DENOS application handles your handwritten documents. After performing future pen software updates, simply run this utility program again and choose the Repair command.
